From a captivating Budapest stroll to iconic landmarks like Matthias Church and Andrassy Avenue, as well as rich heritage centers like the Jewish Synagogue and numerous castles, each day promises a harmonious blend of cultural immersion and scenic beauty. Day trips to Bratislava and Eger further enrich the unique history of these regions. Witness the majesty of Eger Castle, nestled in the picturesque Hungarian countryside. Note: We recommend leaving the US on June 17 so that your flight arrives the morning of June 18 – early enough to participate in Day 1’s activities. Should you wish to arrive on June 17 instead, pre-trip hotel charges will be added to your final bill.

Day 1 – June 18 –Upon landing at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD), your designated private transportation will be standing by to greet you. Arrive at your Budapest accommodation and settle in before you join your fellow travelers for a delightful evening of welcome drinks and dinner. This is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with your group and raise a toast to the thrilling experiences that await you in the heart of Hungary.
Note: To make the most of your first day in Budapest, we recommend scheduling your international flight to arrive on June 17. This will ensure you have ample time to join the group for the evening’s activities on June 18.
Day 2 – June 19 – Start your Budapest journey with an enchanting walking tour, revealing the city’s charm and history. Follow our local guide through picturesque streets and landmarks that define Budapest’s uniqueness. Explore iconic sites, absorbing the cultural tapestry of this European gem. Don’t miss the Gothic splendor of Matthias Church from the 14th century. In Pest, discover the lively Andrassy Avenue, adorned with neoclassical buildings and luxury boutiques. The Danube Promenade offers breathtaking views of the illuminated Chain Bridge and Hungarian Parliament Building. The rich heritage of Budapest will bring the city’s history vividly to life.
Day 3 – June 20 – Embark on a captivating day exploring Budapest’s diverse heritage. Begin your morning at the Jewish Synagogue and Museums, where the heart of the city reveals the living history of the Jewish community. Find yourself in the cultural atmosphere of this significant landmark before you transition to Buda Castle and Citadel Hill, holding an afternoon filled with architectural marvels and panoramic views. Ascend Castle Hill to marvel at the intricate design of the historic Castle and wander the charming Castle District, discovering medieval charm and hidden gems. Journey to Citadel Hill for breathtaking vistas of Budapest and the Danube River, appreciating the strategic importance of this historical fortress. Day 4 – June 21 – Today you day trip to the enchanting city of Bratislava, just a short journey away where adventure promises a captivating tour of the city. Allow yourself time to immerse in the rich history and charm of Slovakia’s capital. Begin your exploration in the historic Old Town, where medieval and Baroque architecture creates a timeless atmosphere. As you stroll along the banks of the river, you’ll encounter the iconic St. Martin’s Cathedral, and nearby local culture that lives in the lively cafes, boutiques, and cultural hotspots. Take a leisurely lunch at a traditional Slovakian restaurant, savoring local flavors and specialties. Your day in Bratislava offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and picturesque landscapes, providing you with memories to cherish as you return to Budapest in the evening.
Day 5 – June 22 – Today marks your free day to explore Budapest at your own pace. Whether you’re captivated by historical landmarks, and cultural institutions, or simply wish to wander through charming streets, endless options await. Consider kickstarting your day with a visit to Budapest’s acclaimed museums like the Hungarian National Museum or the Museum of Fine Arts. For a more leisurely experience, unwind in the famous thermal baths like Széchenyi or Gellért, offering mineral-rich waters. Tailor your day to your preferences—indulge in local cuisine, shop for unique souvenirs, or soak in the city’s atmosphere. In the evening, reunite with fellow travelers to share the day’s excitement over a delightful local dinner.
Day 6 – June 23 – This day holds a captivating tour to Eger Castle, nestled in Hungary’s picturesque countryside. Enjoy the scenic journey to Eger, a charming town renowned for historic landmarks and thermal baths. Upon arrival, explore the castle’s well-preserved courtyards, towers, and ramparts, each echoing tales of battles and cultural heritage. Ascend to breathtaking viewpoints for panoramic views of Hungary’s beauty beyond Budapest. In the afternoon, wander through Eger’s streets, filled with baroque architecture before indulging in local Hungarian wine tasting. Return to Budapest in the evening, ready to share your day’s adventures over a relaxing dinner with fellow travelers.
Day 7 – June 24 – As your final day unfolds, enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace, with the freedom to explore Budapest’s treasures one last time before bidding farewell. The crown jewel of your day encompasses the farewell dinner cruise where you bid adieu to Budapest with a heart full of memories and new friendships forged. This incredible dinner cruise is the perfect opportunity to relieve a week of memories as you glide along the Danube, this unique perspective will awaken shared memories and you toast goodbye to Hungary.
Day 8 – June 25– Check out of your accommodation, where private transportation will be arranged to smoothly transfer you from your hotel to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD) for your flight back to the US.

- Traveler must make a NONREFUNDABLE deposit payment of $400 at time of registration to secure her spot.
- Monthly minimum payment of $400 is required on the first of every month until paid in full to keep your reservations current.
- Final payment must be made 90 days before the trip date.
- A 50% refund can be requested prior to 6 months before the trip start date found in your invoice.
- No refunds for cancellations within 6 months of the trip date found in your invoice.
- A $250 penalty will be charged for any outstanding balance after the final payment date found in your invoice.
