Note: We recommend leaving the US on September 4 so that your flight arrives the morning of September 5 – early enough to participate in Day 1’s activities. Should you wish to arrive on September 4 instead, pre-trip hotel charges will be added to your final bill.

ITINERARY
Day 1 – September 5 – Arrive at Rome Fiumicino International Airport (FCO), and private transportation will bring you to your accommodations in central Rome. Once you’ve settled into your new surroundings, it’s time to come together with your fellow travelers for a delightful introduction to authentic Italian cuisine. This inaugural dinner serves as a delicious gastronomic experience and symbolizes the beginning of a journey filled with remarkable memories, enriching experiences, and the forging of lifelong friendships.
Note: We recommend your flight from the US arrives before 2 p.m. on September 5 to allow adequate time to join the day’s activities.
Day 2 – September 6 – Today, embark on a private tour to discover some of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, including the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the legendary Trevi Fountain. After your walking tour, savor delicious local pizza and then choose how to spend the remainder of your day—whether it’s shopping at Italian leather boutiques, exploring the Colosseum, or simply relaxing at a charming cafe while observing the bustling streets of Rome.
Day 3 – September 7 – Get to know Rome, with a captivating exploration of Vatican City, delving deep into its storied history and gazing in awe at the masterpieces within the Sistine Chapel. After a communal lunch, savor a leisurely FREE afternoon, granting you time and freedom to wander at your own rhythm and explore the sights.
Day 4 – September 8 – Your group will journey to Florence by train to the enchanting city of Florence. Upon arrival, you will embark on a private walking tour to discover Florence’s gems, including the incredible Piazza del Duomo, Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Giotto’s Tower, Saint John’s Baptistery, and more. This private tour will ignite your passion for the beautiful history and architecture that lie at your feet.
Day 5 – September 9 – Off to explore the region of Chianti. Your tastebuds will come alive on today’s private tasting tour and lunch at one of Chianti’s premier wineries. This delightful experience includes the finest of wines and oils and a delightful lunch. In addition, your private transportation will allow time to explore the quaint towns along the way before returning to Florence.
Day 6 – September 10 – New adventures await in the picturesque city of Venice. Board a train for Venice, for the amazing date that awaits. Upon arrival, you will be guided through the charming canal-laced streets by a local private guide. After the tour, enjoy lunch at one of the city’s exceptional cafes before further exploring Venice with your group including the must-do Venetian gondola ride. Return to Florence as the sunsets across the Veneto and Emilia-Romagna regions. This exceptional day concludes with another incredible dinner in Florence.
Day 7 – September 11 – FREE Day in Florence. Today is your day to delight in shopping, and relaxation or continue exploring Florence’s world-class galleries, churches, and architecture. Consider visiting the Accademia to marvel at Michelangelo’s Statue of David.
Day 8 – September 12 – This morning, take the train from Florence to Rome, where you will catch your connecting flight to the US from Rome–Fiumicino International Airport (FCO). Please book your departure flights from (FCO) for after 1 p.m.
If you are joining WTA on a consecutive Amalfi Coast trip, your flight from Rome to Naples will be provided by WTA.

Traveler must make a NONREFUNDABLE deposit payment of $400 at time of registration to secure her spot.
