Join WTA in Scotland! Your adventure begins in Edinburgh, which has been the capital city of Scotland since 1437. This country is steeped with history as you walk through the ancient streets which seamlessly blend history with modern vibrancy. Discover the iconic Edinburgh Castle, a fortress that has witnessed centuries of human occupation since the Iron Age. Let us not forget the Place of Holyrood which was erected in the 16th century, as the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland. The extensive gardens and the historic apartments that were occupied by Mary, Queen of Scots, herself will be an important stop. From the South to the Western and Eastern Highlands, your journey will encompass breathtaking landscapes accessible by car and steam train.

As you traverse the lush Scottish countryside, prepare to be awestruck by the engineering marvels like the Glenfinnan Viaduct in the Western Highlands. Your historical steam train adventures will take you along the small finishing community of Mallaig. And of course, no trip to Scotland would be complete without a visit to the legendary Loch Ness. Feel the enchantment of this mythical lake as you immerse yourself in its serene surroundings. Throughout your tour, this country’s allure and mystique will captivate you through a strong sense of its rich history, stunning landscapes, and legendary landmarks. Get ready for an unforgettable experience as you embrace Scotland and the heritage of the Scottish people.

Note: We recommend leaving the US on May 9 so that your flight arrives the morning of May 10 – early enough to participate in Day 1’s activities. Should you wish to arrive on May 9 instead, pre-trip hotel charges will be added to your final bill.
