Women Travel Abroad

November 4-10, 2023

Once considered the capital of the world, London is a bustling and vibrant city with so much to offer! With a history that extends over 2,000 years ago, there are more iconic buildings and landmarks here than any other city in the world. Which can only mean one thing – endless exploration!

Join WTA on a weeklong English adventure in London, exploring famous markets and experiencing afternoon tea. Your journey continues as you explore nearby Oxford, known for its University as the oldest in the English-speaking world. You’ll experience the archeologically significant Stonehenge and neighboring Salisbury, a beautiful medieval city. Back in London, you will have ample time to explore the city’s highlights: Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and more. Don’t hesitate – London is a city that every traveler should visit, and there’s no better way than in Ease, Comfort, and Style!

Note: We recommend leaving the US on November 3 so that your flight arrives the morning of November 4 – early enough to participate in Day 1’s activities. Should you wish to arrive on November 3 instead, pre-trip hotel charges will be added to your final bill.

DAY 1November 4 – Welcome to London! Arrive at London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR), and private transportation will take you to your accommodations for the week. After settling in, your group will get acquainted with each other over a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Note: We recommend your flight from the US arrives before 2pm on November 4 to allow adequate time to join the day’s activities.

DAY 2November 5 – This morning, your London adventure starts with a visit to Leadenhall Market – a famous Victorian covered market used in many feature films such as the Harry Potter films. Shop ’til you drop before sprucing up for afternoon tea at the iconic Harrods – a must in London!

DAY 3November 6 – Stepping out of the big city today, your group will trade London for Oxford. Home to Britain’s oldest university, Oxford offers the chance to peek inside the brains of the nation. Tour the halls of the university and follow in the footsteps of famous scholars and royals. Enjoy a traditional pub lunch and stroll about the town before returning to London.

DAY 4 – November 7 – FREE Day. Enjoy a day of shopping, take a tour of the city, visit a museum, or take advantage of a full day to indulge in a few spa treatments. Tonight, experience Piccadilly Circus in true fashion as it is illuminated by lights and signs on every corner.

DAY 5 – November 8 – Today, a local guide will bring your group to the world’s most famous prehistoric monument – Stonehenge. Witness the impressive engineering feat of the Neolithic people before visiting nearby Salisbury for the remainder of your guided tour.

DAY 6 – November 9 – Your final day in London will bring you to the city’s chicest neighborhoods for one last opportunity to secure the perfect souvenir. This evening, your group will celebrate a wonderful week together on the River Thames as you take in the nightscapes on a spirited dinner cruise.

DAY 7 – November 10 – A private transfer will take you back to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) for your connecting flight to the US.
