Women Travel Abroad

March 10-16, 2023

Join WTA on an enchanting trip to the City of Lights! Paris, the capital of France, is undeniably one of the most famous cities in the entire world. Known best for the Louvre Museum and the magnificent Eiffel Tower, Paris offers tree-lined boulevards sprawling with quaint cafes and stunning views on every corner.

The city of Reims (pronounced as “rance”) is a must-see stop while visiting Paris. Thanks to France’s modern high-speed rail system, Reims is just 45-minutes outside of Paris. As the capital city of the Champagne Region, Reims offers an authentic taste of the region with cellar doors open wide. This city features a lively center, a historic cathedral, and astonishing champagne tastings representative of the region. From the wine, food, and croissants to the history and art dating back centuries; your heart will leave Paris, the City of Love, whole.

Note: We recommend leaving the US on March 9 so that your flight arrives the morning of March 10 – early enough to participate in Day 1’s activities. Should you wish to arrive on March 9 instead, pre-trip hotel charges will be added to your final bill.

  • Activity Level

Day 1 – March 10 – Arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), and private transportation will take you to your accommodations in central Paris. After settling into your hotel, meet your fellow travel companions over a fabulous Parisian welcome dinner.

Note: We recommend your flight from the US arrives before 2pm on March 10 to allow adequate time to join the day’s activities.

Day 2 – March 11 – On today’s day tour of Paris, you will visit Sacre Coeur, the Sacred Heart of Montmartre (a Roman Catholic Church and a famous landmark with rich religious and political history), and the Arc de Triomphe, which stands at the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle. This massive triumphal arch in Paris is one of the world’s best-known commemorative monuments. Last on your tour, you will experience the world’s most beautiful avenue, Champ Elysees Avenue, full of sightseeing and shopping.

Day 3 – March 12 – Journey to Reims and the Loire Valley today to tour the Champagne region. Your group will visit two champagne houses and the Reims Cathedral. The Champagne and Coronation City is an important part of France’s history – the Reims Cathedral has 900 years’ worth of royal coronations with a deep historical past. With mesmerizing stained-glass windows and intricate architecture, art and history lovers alike will be blown away today!

Day 4 – March 13 – FREE Day in Paris. Enjoy a day of shopping, relax at the hotel, or venture into the city for wonderful photo opportunities.

Day 5 – March 14 – This evening, experience dinner at the Moulin Rouge. Best known as the birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance, the famous Moulin Rouge show will be a spectacular event. Enjoy the glitz and glamor as you prepare to be mesmerized by a parade of talented dancers and acrobats, including 60 legendary Doriss Girls. Be ready for a feast for the senses with spectacular costumes of feathers, sequins, and rhinestones and show-stopping numbers performed to original music.

Day 6 – March 15 – Today is your opportunity to visit the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci at the Louvre Museum. For more than two centuries, the Louvre was a royal palace before it opened to the public as a museum by the French revolutionary government in 1793. In the present day, the Louvre’s collection is one of the richest in the world, containing artifacts and artwork representing 11,000 years of human culture and civilization. This evening, toasting to a rich week of adventure in Paris with your new friends.

Day 7 – March 16 – A private transfer will take you back to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) for your connecting flight to the US.
