 Itinerary Snapshot

Day 1 – April 14: Arrive at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) and settle into your home for the next three nights. After freshening up, join your group for a private walking tour through Amsterdam’s most iconic neighborhoods. Stroll along the picturesque canals, pass the charming houseboats, and discover the hidden courtyards and narrow streets that make this city so enchanting. This evening, gather for a welcome dinner at a local favorite to toast the beginning of your adventure.

Overnight: Inntel Amsterdam Center or Equivalent

Day 2 – April 15: This morning, visit the Anne Frank House and step into the Secret Annex where Anne, her family, and four others hid from the Nazis for over two years. Your guide brings her story to life as you stand in the very rooms where she wrote her famous diary. This afternoon, immerse yourself in the brilliant colors and emotional depth of the Van Gogh Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of Vincent van Gogh’s masterpieces. See “Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” and discover the artist’s extraordinary journey through his own words and works.

Day 3 – April 16: Journey to the Keukenhof Gardens, one of the world’s most magnificent flower gardens. With seven million spring bulbs in full bloom, this 32-hectare paradise bursts with color and fragrance. Wander through themed gardens, Japanese landscapes, and artistic displays that celebrate the artistry of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. Bring your camera to capture the vibrant hues and picture-perfect moments around every corner.

Overnight: Inntel Amsterdam Center or Equivalent

Day 4 – April 17: Your day is yours to explore Amsterdam exactly as you wish. Cycle through the countryside on one of Amsterdam’s 515 kilometers of dedicated bike paths, discovering quaint villages and windmills. Or stay in the city to shop along the charming streets, visit neighborhood museums, or simply linger over coffee at a canal-side café. This evening, board the train to The Hague, arriving in time to settle into your new hotel.

Day 5 – April 18: Begin with a private guided walking tour of The Hague, the royal capital of the Netherlands. Visit the Binnenhof, the historic seat of Parliament, and admire the Royal Palace Noordeinde with its lush gardens. Discover local monuments and the stories woven through this elegant city’s streets. The rest of your afternoon and evening are free to explore at your own pace—visit the art district’s world-class museums, stroll the shopping streets of Grote Marktstraat, or simply enjoy the slower pace of this refined city.

Day 6 – April 19: Take a day trip to Delft, the charming hometown of Johannes Vermeer and the birthplace of world-famous blue-and-white pottery. Wander the picturesque canals, visit artisan pottery studios where craftspeople hand-paint ceramics using centuries-old techniques, and explore the Vermeer Centre to understand the artist’s connection to this magical town. Browse local shops for authentic Delft Blue souvenirs, grab lunch at a cozy restaurant, and soak in the unhurried beauty of this Dutch gem. Return to The Hague this evening for a celebratory farewell dinner with your group.

Day 7 – April 20: After breakfast, take the train from The Hague to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) for your flight back to the US. Your departure flight should leave after 12 pm to allow adequate travel time from the city.

Our trips are open to all adult women. Our average traveler age is 55, but we’ve welcomed travelers as young as 20 and as old as 81. Age shouldn’t be a limiting factor to you exploring the world!

Additional Information

Traveler must make a NONREFUNDABLE deposit payment of $400 at time of registration to secure her spot.

Monthly minimum payment of $400 is required on the first of every month until paid in full to keep your reservations current.

Final payment must be made 90 days before the trip date.

A 50% refund can be requested prior to 6 months before the trip start date found in your invoice.

No refunds for cancellations within 6 months of the trip date found in your invoice.

A $250 penalty will be charged for any outstanding balance after the final payment date found in your invoice.
