Itinerary Snapshot

Day 1 – August 17

Your Scandinavian adventure begins as you arrive at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN). Private transfer takes you into the heart of Sweden’s capital, where 14 islands connected by bridges create a city unlike any other. After settling into your boutique hotel, gather with your group for a welcome dinner featuring Nordic cuisine.

Day 2 – August 18

This morning, join a guided walking tour through Stockholm’s enchanting Gamla Stan, one of Europe’s best preserved medieval city centers. Wind through cobblestone streets past ochre buildings, pausing at the Royal Palace and Stortorget square. This afternoon, experience the beloved Swedish tradition of fika at a historic café, where you will savor cinnamon buns and strong coffee while learning about this daily ritual that brings Swedes together. The evening is yours to explore the Södermalm district’s trendy shops and restaurants.

Day 3 – August 19

Today, venture into the Stockholm archipelago, where thousands of islands dot the Baltic Sea. Board a boat for a scenic cruise through this stunning landscape, passing summer cottages, rocky shores, and pine forests. Stop at a charming island village to explore and enjoy lunch. Return to Stockholm this late afternoon for some free time to visit the Vasa Museum or simply stroll along the waterfront.

Day 4 – August 20

This morning, board your train from Stockholm to Copenhagen. Settle into your comfortable seat as Swedish forests gradually transform into Danish farmland during this scenic journey across Scandinavia. Arriving in Copenhagen this afternoon, transfer to your hotel and enjoy time to settle in and explore your neighborhood before gathering for a group dinner.

Day 5 – August 21

Join a guided walking tour through Copenhagen’s most beloved neighborhoods. Stroll along the colorful waterfront houses of Nyhavn, visit the Amalienborg Palace, and discover hidden courtyards in the old city. This afternoon, explore at your own pace. Pick up a bicycle and pedal along harbor paths like a local, visit design shops, or pause at a café to embrace hygge, Denmark’s art of cozy contentment.

Day 6 – August 22

Your day is completely free to discover Copenhagen at your own pace. Visit Tivoli Gardens amusement park, explore the alternative community of Christiania, climb the Round Tower for city views, shop along Strøget pedestrian street, or visit the National Museum. The day is yours to create your own Danish memories.

Day 7 – August 23

Today, journey north to Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, one of Scandinavia’s most magnificent Renaissance castles which also houses The Museum of National History. Explore the opulent rooms filled with portraits and tapestries, then wander through the baroque gardens surrounding the castle. After lunch in the charming town, return to Copenhagen by train. Gather this evening for a farewell dinner celebrating your Scandinavian journey.

Day 8 – August 24

After breakfast, private transfer takes you to Copenhagen Airport for your departure flight, carrying memories of Nordic cities, island archipelagos, and the warm traditions of Scandinavian life.

Note: Arrival and departure airports are different. You’ll arrive to Stockholm, Sweden (ARN) and depart from Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH).

Our trips are open to all adult women. Our average traveler age is 55, but we’ve welcomed travelers as young as 20 and as old as 81. Age shouldn’t be a limiting factor to you exploring the world!

Additional Information

Traveler must make a NONREFUNDABLE deposit payment of $400 at time of registration to secure her spot.

Monthly minimum payment of $400 is required on the first of every month until paid in full to keep your reservations current.

Final payment must be made 90 days before the trip date.

A 50% refund can be requested prior to 6 months before the trip start date found in your invoice.

No refunds for cancellations within 6 months of the trip date found in your invoice.

A $250 penalty will be charged for any outstanding balance after the final payment date found in your invoice.
